This issue is all about the gold standard:

To Coach George O’Leary, it’s recruiting the right student (http://www.ucf.edu/pegasus/ucf-knights-2013-2014-football-season/). Good students listen, work hard, persevere and graduate. This year, the UCF football team has the highest graduation rate compared to other teams in The Associated Press’ Top 10.

For Theatre UCF Chair Christopher Niess, opening night is the gold standard (http://www.ucf.edu/pegasus/theatre-ucf-presents-nicholas-nickleby/). Theatre UCF and Orlando Shakespeare Theater worked for more than two years to premiere “The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby,” a 6-hour play.

For freshman Ben Carpenter (http://www.ucf.edu/pegasus/disabled-students-overcome-challenges-of-college/), the gold standard requires gauging his on-campus activities so his battery-powered wheelchair will make it home to his dorm after classes.
