Winter Park High School Robotics Team
The Winter Park High School Robotics team is pictured competing at a recent event held by the FIRST Robotics Competition program. The Winter Park team is a non-profit group of high school students mentored by UCF students Michael Walker, Dan Richardson, Robby Wallace and George Wallace.
The Winter Park students were finalists at the Florida Regional competition held at UCF and were undefeated at the Houston Regional competition. Recently, the team's alliance placed in the Top 8 at the World Championship Event in Atlanta, Georgia. The FIRST Robotics Competition is a multinational program that teams professionals and young people to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way.
