The Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management is designed to prepare those individuals currently working in the nonprofit sector with additional training and skills. It offers specialized, graduate-level knowledge in nonprofit management, resources development, strategic planning, volunteerism and program evaluation. This certificate is available only for Florida students. All applicants must meet in-state tuition requirements prior to enrolling in this program.

Curriculum

18 Total Credit Hours Required. All courses are available in a Web-based format.

  • PAD 6142: Nonprofit Organizations
  • PAD 5145: Volunteerism in Nonprofit Management
  • PAD 5146: Nonprofit Resource Development
  • PAD 6327: Public Program Evaluation Techniques
  • PAD 6335: Strategic Planning and Management

Elective Course: 3 Credit Hours

Select one from the following:

  • PAD 5850: Grant and Contract Management
  • PAD 6149: Nonprofit Administration
  • PAD 6167: Graduate Nonprofit Leadership Seminar
  • PAD 6208: Nonprofit Financial Management
  • SOW 6383: Social Work Administration*
