The Web Editorial Group encourages UCF students, faculty, staff, alumni and partners to submit graphics or ideas for the centerpiece section of the UCF homepage.
Image submissions for the centerpiece area must present some aspect of UCF, its community, events, campuses, or academics. We encourage you to submit images that fit the format and overall style of the UCF homepage. Images that promote specific campus-wide events or activities can be accepted based on additional guidelines which are listed below .
The Web Editorial Group makes the final decision reagarding image acceptance. Submission does not guarantee that the image will be used. All submissions become property of UCF. General Guidelines
- Though we prefer student submissions, we encourage UCF alumni, staff, faculty and partners to submit content for this homepage "channel."
- Any photo taken off-campus AND containing recognizable faces must include release forms.
- Please do not use UCF logos, UCF wordmarks, Pegasus icons, or explanatory text in the graphic. The "About the Homepage Image" page will explain the graphic.
- Please do not submit images that are out of focus or of poor quality. Also, note that pictures with a vertical orientation cannot generally fit in the centerpiece section.
- The most common reasons that images are not accepted for the homepage are poor quality, incorrect orientation, inappropriate subject, and/or lack of relevance to the UCF campus and community.
