Please help us congratulate our newest USPS Employee of the Month (EOM) for October 2017 – James McCully.
James is the Senior Broadcast Technologist in the Nicholson School of Communication in the College of Sciences. His nominators had this to say about him:
“There are many, many reasons to nominate Jim, but chief among them is his willingness to do whatever is asked of him. He is consistently willing to assume any task/function that needs to be completed. Jim stands apart from others by his consistent demonstration of exemplary performance that is above and beyond the scope of assigned responsibilities. He has led or played a part in securing over $1.6 million dollars to support the maintenance of top-level equipment and is always looking for ways to provide educational opportunities for students, faculty and staff.
Jim understand that his role is purposed to support the school’s faculty and students and to ensure our students get the best education. He lives and breathes this every day and has done so for more than 25 years.“
We would like to thank this outstanding employee for his dedication and hard work. James receives a certification, one-time $200 cash award, $25 from UCF Business Services and UCF Bookstore, and this goody bag. James will also receive a marquee announcement, an introduction to the UCF Board of Trustees, and is eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year $2,500 award, announced at the Annual Awards Program.
We'd would like to recognize his nominators, Dr. Boyd Lindsley and Dr. Robert Littlefield who took the time to acknowledge his excellent efforts among their colleagues.
