USPS Employee of the Month for July 2018: Ashli Vanhorn

Please join UCF Human Resources in congratulating the newest USPS Employee of the Month (EOM) for July 2018: Ashli Van Horn. Ashli was hired at UCF in March 2014 where she is the Facilities Scheduler in the College of Arts and Humanities. Her nominators had this to say about her:

          “Ashli is an integral part of the Academic support team for the College of Arts and Humanities, managing all aspects of the college schedule, including providing insight toward college initiatives with Global UCF, UCF Online and UCF Downtown. She has provided support for curriculum process, especially as we transition to a new tracking and management programs.

          Ashli helped grow the student credit hour production 5.5% in the 2016-17 academic year.  This increase led the college to be in the top five performers at the university.  By ensuring we build a schedule that is student-focused, Ashli has helped the college stay on track to meet Challenge 2020 related goals to student success.”

As USPS Employee of the Month, Ashli received a $200 cash award, $25 from UCF Business Services and UCF Bookstore, her name in lights on the UCF campus marquee, an introduction to the UCF Board of Trustees, and is now eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year $2,500 award, announced at the UCF Annual Awards Program.
