University-sponsored events and programs should be virtual wherever possible without loss of effectiveness, including recruiting for Greek and student organizations, and follow CDC and public health guidelines, which may evolve during the semester.
Registered student organizations are required to submit safety plans for their requested in-person activities, including meetings, events and programming.

Are orientation sessions still being held?
After considering the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, guidance from the state, and the health and safety of all, the decision was made to move orientation completely online.
This year, Freshman and Transfer students will complete their 2020 New Knight Virtual Experience. Although Orientation experience will be completed virtually, you are expected to still be available for the entirety of your Orientation date/program. Students may have different requirements throughout the day depending on their major/college.

Is the Recreation and Wellness Center open?
Yes. The RWC is providing a phased approach to reopening which includes several operational, cleaning and safety changes. Providing students with safe facilities and programs continues to be a top priority.
The RWC will continue to remain flexible due to local health conditions in our reopening plans and may alter at any time based on the guidance provided by UCF as well as state and local health officials.

Can I still access Knights Pantry for groceries?
Yes. Knights Pantry has curbside pick up and in-pantry shopping.
Curbside Pickup: Please complete a Knights Pantry To-Go Bag form. Bags can be picked up once a week from the Knights Pantry loading dock between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Bags will contain 10 non-perishable items. Additional items can be requested based on availability.
In-Pantry Shopping: For students who would like to shop inside the pantry for clothing, toiletries, electronics/ appliances and miscellaneous items, appointments will be available Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Please complete an In-Pantry Shopping form to reserve your appointment date and time as they are filled in the order they are received. Face coverings are required to be worn upon entry.
