Let’s Get Ready to Raffle
UCF students who are fully vaccinated* have a chance to win one of the following items:
- 1 of 60 Apple or Dell tech bundles — a $1,500 value
- 1 of 100 grants for textbooks and academic supplies — a $500 value
- 1 of 10 tuition and fee waivers for one semester — up to $5,000
The first raffle is now closed. The second drawing is September 30. Entry must be received by September 29, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Please note that you can only enter the raffle once. If you already submitted your entry, and were not selected as a winner, you are eligible for all remaining drawings.
*For the purposes of this raffle, fully vaccinated is defined as having received one dose of a single-dose vaccine, like Johnson & Johnson, or both doses of a two-dose vaccine, like Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna, by the date of entry.

The FDA-approved Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is available right now at the Student Health Center, or walk in to a community provider near you. If you receive the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine or both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines by October 15, 2021, you are eligible to enter the Armor Up & Win raffle.

Why is UCF offering a raffle for vaccinated students?
UCF is encouraging all students to get vaccinated as soon as possible. According to the CDC, COVID 19-vaccines are effective. They can keep you from getting and spreading the virus that causes COVID-19, and they can help keep you from getting seriously ill even if you do get COVID-19. To help encourage those who have not been vaccinated and thank students who have, the university is offering up items for raffle. The items include technology bundles, grants and tuition waivers. Students are being encouraged to get vaccinated by October 15, 2021.
Who is eligible to enter the raffle?
Current UCF students who have received all applicable doses of a COVID-19 vaccine are eligible to enter the raffle.
Can I enter the raffle more than once?
No. You can only enter the raffle once. Your one entry is eligible for all remaining drawings. If chosen as a winner, you are ineligible for any remaining drawings.
When are the drawings?
Winners will be randomly selected through three drawings held on September 15, September 30 and October 16, 2021. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET the day before each drawing.
What do I need to provide to enter the raffle?
To be eligible for the raffle, you need to have received a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson, or both doses of a two-dose vaccines, such as Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna, by October 15, 2021. When you click on the entry form, you will need to login using your UCF login and enter your contact information, the brand of COVID-19 vaccine you have completed and the date(s) of your vaccination shots. UCF collects vaccination status on a voluntary basis.
What if I cannot get vaccinated because of a medical or religious reason?
Which vaccines are eligible in this raffle?
Receiving all applicable doses of a COVID-19 vaccine makes you eligible for the raffle. If you received a COVID-19 vaccine outside of the U.S., other than Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and Moderna, please select “other.” Everyone who is selected as a winner will need to provide proof of vaccination status with a valid vaccine card.
I submitted my entry but selected the wrong brand of vaccine, what do I do?
If you are selected as a winner, you will need to provide proof of vaccination status with your vaccine card.
When do I need to be vaccinated by to be eligible to enter the drawings?
The last drawing will be conducted on October 16 and you must enter the day before, October 15, 2021 by 11:59 p.m. ET to be eligible. You must have received your single-dose vaccine or both doses of a two-dose vaccine on or before October 15, 2021.
If I win, how do I claim my prize?
Drawings will be conducted on September 15, September 30 and October 16, 2021. After each drawing, winners will be contacted and will receive instructions. Each winner will need to provide proof of their vaccination by showing their vaccine card when they pick up their prize.
What vaccine is available at Student Heath Center on campus?
Are students who have had COVID-19 and have natural immunity eligible to enter the raffle?
This raffle is for current UCF students who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. According to the CDC, people who have had COVID-19 should still get vaccinated to be better protected against the disease.
Are there any tax implications if I win a prize?
When an individual wins anything valued at $600 or more, it is reported to the federal government. If your prize is valued at $600 or greater, you will need to fill out the appropriate tax documentation when you claim your prize.
