UCF hired CannonDesign to explore the possibility of establishing a downtown Orlando campus.<\/p>\n

After several months of meeting with more than 30 representatives from UCF and more than 20 from partner organizations, CannonDesign developed a\u00a0concept report<\/a>\u00a0that suggests which academic programs could benefit from being downtown; opportunities for further partnerships with Valencia College and Orange County Public Schools; needed ancillary developments, such as parking, mass transit and housing; and opportunities for incorporating local employers, government and community organizations.<\/p>\n

The concept report is now being used to guide conversations about developing a downtown campus, inform further areas of study and help construct the university\u2019s plan for UCF Downtown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"UCF hired CannonDesign to explore the possibility of establishing a downtown Orlando campus.
