This act has implications for the administration of federally funded student aid starting on July 1, 2026. For more information on the impact on Federal Financial Aid visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/financial-aid\/upcoming-federal-changes-impacting-financial-aid\/\">Federal Changes Impacting Financial Aid<\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"container mt-4 mt-sm-5\">\n\t\t\t\t\n<p class=\"lead mb-4\">Completing the <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/apply-for-aid\/fafsa\">Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)<\/a> automatically allows you to be considered for federal, state and university financial aid programs. Filling out the FAFSA is free.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"pr-xl-5 col-lg-7\">\n\t\t\t\t\n<p><strong>All students must apply or reapply for financial aid every year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be given the greatest consideration for financial aid programs, you should complete the FAFSA before UCF&#8217;s established priority filing date. &nbsp;Some programs are first-come, first-served, so be sure to apply early to avoid losing out on potential funding opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The FAFSA application takes less than an hour to complete for first-time filers.
