Two UCF faculty were recently honored as fellows of the National Academy of Kinesiology, a privilege considered the pinnacle career achievement in the discipline of kinesiology.<\/p>\n

Pegasus Professor Jeffrey Stout<\/a> from the College of Health Professions and Sciences joins the 2021 class alongside the College of Sciences\u2019 Pegasus Professor Peter Hancock<\/a>. Both are the first academy fellows at UCF; elected fellows have exemplified scholarship and leadership in the discipline throughout their career and have advanced the mission and goals of the academy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am extremely honored to receive this recognition for my work in advancing the field of kinesiology and training the next generation of educators in the field,\u201d Stout says. \u201cI see it as the result that comes when you live your passion, which is what I\u2019ve been doing in my field for over 25 years.\u201d<\/p>\n
