We know this point in the semester can be particularly challenging, and we want to remind you to take care of yourself and of the resources available to help you study and stay well.<\/p>\n<p>Over these next few days, we encourage you to schedule time for breaks in your academic preparation to get some fresh air, connect with friends and family, exercise, eat well, and just breathe. Staying hydrated is key, as is doing your best to sleep well so you can awaken recharged.<\/p>\n<p>If you are looking for some additional support with particular classes, check out <strong>Study Union<\/strong> from Dec. 1 through 6. Before and during final exam week, the <a href=\"https:\/\/academicsuccess.ucf.edu\/sarc\/\">Student Academic Resource Center<\/a> hosts final exam review sessions spanning a variety of academic subjects at the Student Union and via Zoom.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/academicsuccess.ucf.edu\/sarc\/ace\/\">Academic Coaching &amp; Engagement (ACE) program<\/a> also is offered in-person and via Zoom during Study Union. ACE coaches work with students one-on-one to provide you with ways to improve study skills, test-taking skills, test anxiety, time management and more. The complete Student Union schedule is available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/ucfmobile.ucf.edu\/\">UCF Mobile app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>UCF has an abundance of additional resources available to you. Whether you need them now or down the road, please do not hesitate to reach out:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/scs.sdes.ucf.edu\/\">Student Care Services<\/a>: If you are facing unexpected challenges, reach out for wrap-around care and support. The office can be reached by calling <a>407-823-5607<\/a>, emailing <a href=\"mailto:caremanager@ucf.edu\">caremanager@ucf.edu<\/a>, and by submitting a <a href=\"https:\/\/cm.maxient.com\/reportingform.php?UnivofCentralFlorida&amp;layout_id=10\">Student of Concern form<\/a> for yourself or a fellow Knight.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emergency Funding:<\/strong> For those who are facing financial insecurity, complete an <a href=\"https:\/\/scs.sdes.ucf.edu\/emergency-funding\/\">application to be considered for emergency funds<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/caps.sdes.ucf.edu\/\">Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)<\/a>: CAPS offers free mental health individual and group therapy sessions and also can assist with finding off-campus providers for longer-term support. Their 24\/7 crisis hotline can be reached by calling <a>407-823-2811<\/a> and pressing 5.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/caps.sdes.ucf.edu\/therapy-assisted-online-tao-self-help\/\">Therapy Assistance Online (TAO)<\/a>: TAO is a self-guided interactive program that aids with managing anxiety, depression and other concerns. The online experience includes viewing short, helpful videos; taking part in brief exercises; and using logs to track your mood and progress.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/caps.sdes.ucf.edu\/togetherall\/\">Togetherall<\/a>: Togetherall is a peer-to-peer space to connect with others experiencing similar feelings. Whether you are struggling to cope, feeling low or just need a place to talk, Togetherall can help you to explore your feelings in a supportive environment, with trained professionals on hand 24\/7.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/academicsuccess.ucf.edu\/academic-services\/\">Academic Services<\/a>: Academic Services helps you navigate state and university policies related to academic record changes, curriculum file management, degree audits and graduation requirements.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/whps.sdes.ucf.edu\/wellness\/\">Wellness and Health Promotion Services (WHPS)<\/a>: WHPS offers wellness coaching to assist with your health goals and help you make lifestyle changes to optimize your well-being. Specially trained and certified staff can help with nutrition, physical activity, stress management and more.
