Dixon School of Accounting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>College of Business Administration Dean Thomas L. Keon has named Sean Robb, Ph.D., the director of the Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting.<\/p>\n<p>Robb, an associate professor, joined UCF in 2005. His research interests are in the general areas of financial accounting and international accounting with specific interests in earnings management and financial disclosure. He has published over a dozen articles in leading academic accounting journals including <em>Contemporary Accounting Research<\/em>;<em> Auditing: A Journal of Practice &amp; Theory<\/em>; <em>Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance<\/em> and the <em>Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting<\/em> among others. He serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several journals and has been on the editorial board of The International Journal of Accounting since 2001.<\/p>\n<p>He earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1995 and is an ICAO Doctoral Fellow and Chartered Accountant. He has received several awards for teaching and research excellence.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting\" href=\"https:\/\/business.ucf.edu\/departments-schools\/kenneth-g-dixon-school-of-accounting\/\">The Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting<\/a> is one of the largest schools of accounting in the nation with 22 faculty members, more than 1300 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in BSBA, MSA, MST and PhD programs, and a total endowment of more than $10 million. The school includes the Kenneth G. Dixon Eminent Scholar Chair, the Burnett Eminent Scholar Chair and three endowed professorships: C.G.
