Prior to his promotion to director, Rideout was the operations manager for Colonial Life Arena and the operations supervisor for the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ron brings a tremendous amount of operations and event management experience to the UCF Arena, which is crucial as we move into another busy season,&#8221; said UCF Arena general manager Lexie Boone. &#8220;We will look to Ron for his vast experience and knowledge in arena management to help us to continue to be successful at UCF.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rideout received a bachelor\u2019s degree in Education with an emphasis in Sport Management from Bowling Green State University in 2005.<\/p>\n<p>The Global Spectrum-managed UCF Arena is home to the UCF men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s basketball programs, as well as concerts, family shows and other attractions for the Central Florida area.
