Previously, Florez served as Gov. Jeb Bush\u2019s deputy director of legislative affairs and as his special assistant. Florez volunteers his time with the Florida Council of 100, Futures Foundation of Volusia County Schools, and the Community Foundation of Flagler and Volusia. He earned bachelor\u2019s degrees in political science and legal studies from UCF. Vahle serves as&nbsp;a member of the Rollins College Board of Trustees and the Florida Council of 100.&nbsp;He previously served as a member of the Give Kids the World Board of Directors.
