About 300 local high schoolers this week will get a sneak peek at career opportunities in hospitality during a trade show at UCF\u2019s Rosen College of Hospitality Management.<\/p>\n
The Rosen College has teamed up with the Central Florida National Academy Foundation to host the third-annual High School Conference and Tradeshow for students from six high schools in Orange and Brevard counties. Each of the schools selected has academics geared toward hospitality and tourism.<\/p>\n
The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, at the Rosen College campus near International Drive.<\/p>\n
With a Dr. Seuss-inspired theme, \u201cOh the Opportunities You\u2019ll Have,\u201d the event will enable high school students to learn about different types of hospitality careers, hear from local hospitality industry professionals and take a tour of the Rosen College.<\/p>\n
Students from Colonial, Oak Ridge, Freedom, Mid Florida Tech, Rockledge and Merritt Island high schools have been invited to attend. Rosen College Event Management students are organizing the event.<\/p>\n
