Mr. UCF Jared Masucci and Miss UCF Sara York participated in the \u201cOrange County Public Schools Teach-In\u201d at Pinar Elementary School.They visited four kindergarten classes in two sessions. York read a story and Masucci sang and played the guitar. They talked about UCF and having a positive attitude each day. Each program closed with the students learning the UCF cheer.<\/p>\n
One classroom was hosted by teacher Denesha Jenkins Pierre-Louis. Veronica Liveslay, Student Development and Enrollment Services, stated, \u201cIn 2007, when Denesha was Miss UCF, I accompanied her and Alex Lord [Mr. UCF] to Princeton Elementary for the same purpose. It goes full circle.\u201d<\/p>\n
