The University of Central Florida received a grant to enhance accommodations for students with disabilities.<\/p>\n

The Eccleston-Callahan Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation of Central Florida will provide 10 adjustable tables and six adjustable chairs for the testing rooms in the Student Disability Services office. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The tables will accommodate students who use wheelchairs or need to stand while taking a test. The adjustable chairs will accommodate students who have difficulty sitting for long periods of time.<\/p>\n

In addition to the furniture, the grant will provide $3,200 in scholarships for eligible students.<\/p>\n

The Community Foundation of Central Florida<\/a> is a public grant-making foundation that is home to nearly 400 charitable funds established by philanthropists who care about the impact of their giving as much as the charitable causes they support.<\/p>\n
