UCF President John Hitt<\/a> has been appointed to the Council on Competitiveness, a nonpartisan organization that strives to make the U.S. more competitive in the global economy.<\/p>\n

The council, based in Washington, D.C., brings together business, labor, academic and government leaders to evaluate economic challenges and opportunities. The council issued a recent call-to-action, \u201cFive for the Future,\u201d which sets five goals meant to address America\u2019s future competitiveness.<\/p>\n
