UCF is once again the highest ranked C-USA team in the nation as SMU continued to drop, this week falling another spot in No. 23. The Knights and Mustangs are the only two teams from the league ranked in the last poll leading up to this weekend’s championship meet in Houston.<\/p>\n

The latest rankings follow UCF’s final home meet of the season and the final meet leading up to the conference championships. In what was a complete team effort, 18 new personal records were achieved by members of the Knights at the UCF Twilight last Thursday, while Aurieyall Scott and Erica Winston set new school and freshmen records in the 100 and 800 meters, respectively.<\/p>\n

The Black and Gold will look to defend their 2011 title when they take to the newly renovated Holloway Field\/Ley Track Complex. UCF’s first scheduled events of the weekend will begin under the lights on Saturday, May 14 and continue through Sunday evening. Live streaming of Saturday and Sunday will be available for FREE on the Knights All-Access page.<\/p>\n
