Students in instructor A\u2019Rion Raymond\u2019s Event Management II class at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management recently assisted with a professional networking and education event.<\/p>\n
The International Association of Exposition and Events (IAEE) hosted their Annual Southeastern Classic July 21, at Rosen Shingle Creek, and Rosen College was proud to be involved.<\/p>\n
Raymond\u2019s students coordinated and executed the event\u2019s opening reception, which included writing a welcome speech, presenting the college\u2019s history and playing Rosen marketing videos on loop.\u00a0 The class also promoted special pricing for Rosen students to attend the event.\u00a0 Twenty lucky students took advantage of the $25 ticket deal that included access to all sessions and meals.\u00a0 Non-members paid as much as $295 just to get into the event, so this was a remarkable opportunity.<\/p>\n
Raymond and select students were featured on a segment for Convention News Television (CNTV).<\/p>\n
