Legendary artist Paul Simon has announced that he will return to the road this fall, and his tour will include a\u00a0 special Orlando performance at the UCF Arena on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tickets priced at $57.50 and $87.50 will go on sale this Friday, Oct. 21, at 10:00 a.m. exclusively through Ticketmaster at www.Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.Tickets will also be available in person at the UCF Arena Box Office. Additional taxes and fees may apply.<\/p>\n

The set list will draw from Simon\u2019s iconic career, including several songs that haven\u2019t been performed live in many years.\u00a0 Also included will be tracks from So Beautiful or So What<\/em>, <\/em><\/strong>his first new record in five years released by Hear Music\/Concord Music Group in April to critical acclaim.<\/p>\n

Simon earned rave reviews on the Spring leg of his U.S. tour.\u00a0 The Hollywood Reporter <\/em>said he delivered, \u201can alternately beautiful and boisterous show\u2026\u00a0 It was raucous and rolling all night.\u201d\u00a0 The Los Angeles Times<\/em> praised his, \u201crich, perfectly programmed concert,\u201d noting that, \u201cHe received countless ovations,\u201d from the sold-out crowd.\u00a0 The Chicago Tribune<\/em> summed up the tour\u2019s powerful intimacy, saying, \u201cPaul Simon has played stadiums and festivals. He’s done Central Park. So it was a treat to see one of the most venerated songwriters of the last half-century turn the sold-out Vic Theatre into his living room.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joining Paul once again on the road is a stellar band of musicians including Cameroonian guitarist Vincent Nguini, guitarist\/drummer Jim Oblon, pianist Mick Rossi, saxophonist\/keyboardist Andrew Snitzer, bassist Bakithi Kumalo, guitarist Mark Stewart, master percussionist Jamey Haddad and multi-instrumentalist Tony Cedras.<\/p>\n

Produced by Phil Ramone and Paul Simon, with liner notes written by Elvis Costello, So Beautiful or So What<\/em> is one of the most well reviewed albums of the year.\u00a0 Rolling Stone<\/em> magazine declared it, \u201cHis best since Graceland,\u201d and National Public Radio<\/em> affirmed, \u201c\u2026his new music balances great poetry and pop.
