Cordell Vincent seems like a typical 14-year-old. He works hard in school, likes to play basketball with his friends and admires local sports heroes.<\/p>\n
But\u00a0Cordell has added a touch of atypical to the mix. Recently,\u00a0he decided he wanted to not only admire the UCF Knights but support them too, and he gave a very generous donation \u2014 his own money \u2014 to the Golden Knights Club, becoming the organization\u2019s youngest donor.<\/p>\n
He may not call it philanthropy, but Cordell\u2019s gift to GKC is one of the many things he does to give back. He also supports Relay for Life and volunteers at his library. Not surprisingly, he admires those who work hard and serve as positive role models for young kids.<\/p>\n
The Knights and UCF grabbed his attention when he attended his first football game two years ago, at age 12. Since then he has attended as many football, baseball and basketball games as possible, and hopes to sit in the stands in a few years as a Knight himself. \u201cI would love to go to UCF on an academic or athletic scholarship,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n
