Jesse Sunski, coordinator academic advising services, First Year Advising & Exploration, was selected as an \u201cOutstanding New Advisor Certificate of Merit\u201d recipient in the Academic Advising\u2014Primary Role category from the National Academic Advising Association as part of the 2012 Annual Awards Program for academic advising.<\/p>\n
The award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated qualities associated with outstanding academic advising of students and who have served as an advisor for a period of three or fewer years. The category includes those individuals whose primary role at the institution is the direct delivery of advising services to students.<\/p>\n
Sunski will be honored and presented with this award in Nashville, TN during the NACADA Annual Conference this fall.
