What is the Organic Garden?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The half-acre UCF Organic Community Garden<\/a> has a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs. The garden features plants native to Florida, as well as other plants that can withstand the Florida climate.<\/p>\n

Students and community members who regularly volunteer their time in the garden share the produce from the garden.<\/p>\n

The UCF Organic Community Garden launched Feb. 21 by the Student Sustainability Alliance and the UCF Environmental Initiative<\/a>. Since the garden’s launch, more than 200 students and community members have volunteered 1,500 hours to keep up the garden.<\/p>\n
