The UCF Police Department will host the annual \u201cGuns \u2018N Hoses\u201d blood drive from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20.<\/p>\n
\u201cGuns \u2018N Hoses\u201d is a challenge between Central Florida\u2019s police and sheriff\u2019s departments and fire departments. Blood donors have the opportunity to register their vote for police and sheriff\u2019s departments (\u201cGuns\u201d) or fire departments (\u201cHoses\u201d). Donors also will receive a free commemorative T-shirt and a free movie ticket.<\/p>\n
Every blood donation is important and has a profound impact on someone’s life. In most cases, donated blood is transfused into a patient within 48 to 72 hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The campus community and the public are invited to donate at the Big Red Bus outside the UCF Police Department on Libra Drive.
