Admission is free, but donations of any size are appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>Best Buddies creates opportunities for one-on-one friendships, employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The nonprofit was founded in 1989 and has since grown to nearly 1,500 chapters worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Active on campus since 1992, UCF&#8217;s Best Buddies chapter pairs students with young adults with intellectual disabilities with the hope of enhancing their lives and giving them the chance to experience some of the same social activities as college students.
