Twelve students on the UCF Collegiate DECA team competed in several competitions against other Collegiate DECA teams at the state conference. All the students did well and the entire team has won spots to compete on the State of Florida team at the National competition in Anaheim, California in April.<\/p>\n

Results:<\/p>\n

  • The team won a four-star (the highest possible ranking)\u00a0Chapter Activities Award\u00a0for its activities and community service throughout the year. Only two chapters in the state earned this award.<\/li>\n
  • The State Outstanding Student Achievement Award:\u00a0Brittany Keating<\/li>\n
  • Business Ethics:\u00a0Cody McCaughan\u00a0and\u00a0Jeff MacGibbon, second place;\u00a0Reggie Denmark\u00a0and\u00a0Christopher Burke-Jones, finalist<\/li>\n
  • Entrepreneurship:\u00a0Eddie Rippen, second place;\u00a0Andrea Alvarez, finalist;\u00a0Jessica Graham, finalist<\/li>\n
  • Human Resource Management:\u00a0Brittany Keating, finalist<\/li>\n
  • Marketing Management:\u00a0Cody McCaughan, third place;\u00a0Morgan Lawler, finalist; Jessica Graham, finalist<\/li>\n
  • Professional sales:\u00a0Christopher Burke-Jones, third place;\u00a0Ashley Sardelli, finalist<\/li>\n
