Gannon, &#8217;89; and Maureen Walker, &#8217;81.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A Disney executive, a <a href=\"http:\/\/ucf.edu\/partnerships\/\">partner<\/a> in a top accounting firm and the senior vice president of a Central Florida based architect firm were inducted into the Hall of Fame at a recent banquet held on campus.<\/p>\n<p>Class of 2009 includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Anthony Connelly, \u201988<\/strong>, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Domestic Businesses. He leads more than 700 employees worldwide and is responsible for the financial planning and fiscal management of both the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts. He has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Public Accountant.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Donald J. \u201cD.J.\u201d Gannon, \u201989<\/strong>, partner in the Washington D.C. office of Deloitte &amp; Touche LLP. He specializes in global accounting and financial reporting, as well as global regulatory and professional issues. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the District of Columbia and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Maureen Walker, \u201981<\/strong>, partner and senior vice president at Helman Hurley Charvat Peacock\/Architects, Inc. Her work with the firm includes strategic planning, problem solving, analysis of insurance companies and overseeing financial and banking operations. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has an MBA from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Induction into the program is the highest recognition given by the college. Inductees must be a graduate, and are selected based on their career achievements and their commitment to UCF, specifically <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/business-administration\/\">the business school<\/a>. \u201cHall of Fame inductees give back to the college by serving as mentors to our students and hiring our graduates,\u201d said <strong>Thomas L. Keon<\/strong>, dean of the college.<\/p>\n<p>With the addition of the latest class, 53 graduates have been inducted into the Hall of Fame since 1999.
