AAJ Technologies <\/a>, a leading Information Technology (IT) systems integrator and solution provider, was recently awarded the prestigious CEO Nexus Cup\u00a0presented by GrowFL<\/a>, the Florida Economic Gardening Institute at UCF.\u00a0 Located in South Florida, the company provides high-end technology consulting services, helping companies become more efficient, profitable and competitive in their respective industries. Notable clients include: the Food and Drug Administration, Citrix Systems, Florida Virtual School, Miami Children\u2019s Hospital, Bluegreen Corporation, and the Florida Department of Education.<\/p>\n

The CEO Nexus Cup is a traveling trophy and member-recognition award, lauding those companies that have achieved sustained growth and significant entrepreneurial success, in part due to their collaboration with GrowFL and CEO Nexus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

GrowFL and CEO Nexus, in partnership with the Center for Advanced Entrepreneurship at Rollins College, and the Florida High Tech Corridor Council<\/a>, host a quarterly CEO Forum where the CEO Nexus Cup is presented.\u00a0 These informational presentations and networking opportunities allow members to meet with and learn from fellow CEOs who have successfully guided and advanced their companies into the next stages of business development.<\/p>\n

Amjad Shamim, AAJ Technologies CEO and Managing Director, was presented with the award during the CEO Nexus Forum held on June 10 in Orlando.<\/p>\n

Shamim knows what it takes to build a successful company.\u00a0 With more than 28 years of leadership and management experience, he has become a proven and respected authority in the IT industry.\u00a0 Shamim earned Microsoft\u2019s Gold Level Partner and coveted Field-Managed status, achieving more than 90% overall performance ratings.\u00a0 His positive influence is also demonstrated within his company.\u00a0 During the tough economic turndown, he avoided layoffs by taking a second mortgage on his house.\u00a0 While no one earned a salary increase, Shamim held true to his promise, and not a single employee was let go.\u00a0 To this day, most of those employees are still with AAJ technologies, generating unprecedented loyalty in an industry synonymous for turnover.\u00a0 Under his leadership AAJ Technologies has experienced steady growth and has recently announced plans for expansion in the Orlando area, with support from GrowFL.<\/p>\n
