In addition to her research grant, Hunt has also been re-elected to serve as the second vice president on the Florida Nurses Association&#8217;s 2009-2011 Board of Directors. Hunt is serving a second term in this elected office.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;Six UCF nursing students received Florida Nurses Foundation (FNF) scholarships, the most awarded to any nursing school in the state, including USF and UM, which received\u00a0four and three respectively. The 2009 UCF recipients are:\u00a0<strong>Ivonne Johnson<\/strong>, a DNP student, who\u00a0received a District 3 Scholarship; <strong>Holly Herrmann<\/strong>, a MSN Nurse Educator student, who received the District 8 Charlotte Anzalone Scholarship; <strong>Venina Wicker<\/strong>, a Cocoa BSN student, who received the Mary York Scholarship; <strong>Jamie Buchman<\/strong>, a Daytona BSN student, who received the Lillian Hulla Scholarship; <strong>Carmen Polo<\/strong>, a Daytona BSN student, who received the Olive Seymour District 6 Scholarship; and\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth LaPorte<\/strong>, a BSN student, who received the Great 100 Nursing Scholarship.
