Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, Giving Tuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports philanthropy.<\/p>\n
Giving Tuesday at UCF was a big success last Tuesday, November 29. Gifts came in from 16 states, totaling $33,597 from 260 donors. More than $10,000 was raised for First Generation scholarships, which benefit those students who are first in their family to attend college.
