Nasser also took second place in the individual division against a field of 139 competitors. It was UCF\u2019s highest finish since sweeping both the team and individual titles in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe legacy of PSP competitiveness and sales skill excellence continues thanks to Omar and Ryan, along with teammates and alternates Jason Cavanaugh and Jesse Crumbley,\u201d said Bill Steiger, DBA, UCF Professional Selling Program director and coach.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Marketing offers the specialized Professional Selling Program and each year accepts only two cohorts of 35 students who show potential and promise in sales. The program, which won the 2017 National Collegiate Sales Competition, boasts a 95 percent after-graduation job placement rate while the remainder go on to graduate school.<\/p>\n<p>Later this month PSP students Elizabeth Drivas, Jacob Samoranski, Allison Estopare (alternate) and Branden Shafmaster (alternate) will compete in the National Sales Challenge on Nov. 15-17 at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The University of Central Florida Professional Selling Program team of Omar Nasser and Ryan Williams \u00a0took second place at the International Collegiate Sales Competition in Orlando on Friday,\u00a0 beating out 68 teams from other universities in the sales role play competition.
