href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/ucf-led-consortium-manage-arecibo-observatory-puerto-rico\/\">partnering with the most powerful single-dish radio telescope in the world<\/a>, Arecibo Observatory. \u201cThe kind of science we can conduct with this observatory is important, and we didn\u2019t want to see it go dark,\u201d says Elizabeth Klonoff, vice president for Research and dean of the (Photo by Nick Levya &#8217;15)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>14.&nbsp;College GameDay Is Coming to UCF<\/h2>\n<p>Not only did ESPN\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/college-gameday-coming-ucf\/\"><em>College GameDay<\/em> announce it was coming to campus<\/a> for the first time in its 25 year history, but ABC revealed it had selected the UCF football team\u2019s showdown with Cincinnati as its Saturday primetime matchup.
