Dr. Kendall Cortelyou is an Associate Professor and the Director for the School of Global Health Management at UCF. She holds her master’s degree in health services administration and her Ph.D. in the Doctoral Program in Public Affairs \u2014 Health Services Management and Research Track. Dr. Cortelyou\u2019s research interests include substance use disorder, with a special focus on opioid use disorder and the changing nature of this epidemic. She believes that patients and their families should be at the center of the solution to this escalating crisis. Dr. Cortelyou also conducts research on the use of health information technology to engage patients and increase health literacy. She currently has a grant with Project Opioid, a non-profit organization committed to empowering the business and faith community to make a difference in the opioid crisis.
