These three ideas from School of Visual Arts and Design Assistant Professor <strong>Victor Davila \u201997 \u201907MFA<\/strong> will show the opposing team you came to play.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/pegasus\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/4\/files\/2015\/10\/IMAGE_Fall2015_FacePainting.jpg\" title=\"UCF Ultimate Tailgating Guide: face painting ideas\" alt=\"UCF Ultimate Tailgating Guide: face painting ideas\" width=\"100%\"><\/p>\n<p>[callout background=&#8221;#e4e1dc&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"text-left\"><span class=\"text-uppercase\">Get Your Spirit On<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"text-left\">The Marching Knights provide the ultimate soundtrack to any tailgate. Before kickoff, fans can find the band entertaining in small groups in the Student Union before they converge at Knights Plaza for the March to Victory to Spectrum Stadium.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-left\">\u201cThe UCF fight song \u2018Charge On\u2019 always gets the crowd clapping, and \u2018Go Knights Funk\u2019 and the \u2018Black and Gold\u2019 trumpet cheer pull a good reaction class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-6 text-left\" style=\"margin-bottom: 20px;\">\n<h3><span class=\"text-uppercase\">Hot Wing Sliders with Celery and Blue Cheese Slaw<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Courtesy of <strong>Emily Ellyn \u201908<\/strong> TV chef<\/p>\n<p>Yields: 4 sliders<\/p>\n<h4>Hot Wing Slider Ingredients<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 22px;\">\n<li>2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut in halves<\/li>\n<li>Half a beer, preferably a farmhouse ale<\/li>\n<li>7 ounces of your favorite wing sauce<\/li>\n<li>3 ounces of blue cheese<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons of butter<\/li>\n<li>4 brioche slider rolls, split lengthwise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Instructions<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 22px;\">\n<li>Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker and pour in all of the ingredients except for the butter.<\/li>\n<li>Cover and cook on low heat for 5 hours, stirring periodically.<\/li>\n<li>Once the chicken is fully cooked, add the butter.<\/li>\n<li>Shred the meat finely with two forks.<\/li>\n<li>Pile the meat onto the slider buns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Celery and Blue Cheese Slaw Ingredients<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 22px;\">\n<li>4 celery ribs, thinly sliced at an angle<\/li>\n<li>1\u20442 cup of red onion, very thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons of extra-virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1\u20442 teaspoon of freshly grated lemon zest<\/li>\n<li>1\u20444 teaspoon of kosher salt<\/li>\n<li>1\u20448 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper<\/li>\n<li>1\u20444 teaspoon of celery seed<\/li>\n<li>1\u20444 cup of crumbled blue cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Instructions<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 22px;\">\n<li>In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the blue cheese and toss well.<\/li>\n<li>Gently toss in the blue cheese.<\/li>\n<li>Place in a refrigerator until the chicken is ready.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"col-md-6 text-left\" style=\"margin-bottom: sandwiches<\/p>\n<h4>Ingredients<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 22px;\">\n<li>1 16-ounce jar of your favorite salsa verde<\/li>\n<li>40 slices of hearty bread<\/li>\n<li>2 pounds pulled pork mixed with 1 cup mojo marinade<\/li>\n<li>20 slices fontina cheese<\/li>\n<li>8 ounces of melted butter (or your favorite substitute)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Instructions<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 22px;\">\n<li>Spread a thin layer of salsa verde on each slice of bread.<\/li>\n<li>Spread warm pulled pork and add a slice of fontina cheese for each sandwich.<\/li>\n<li>Brush each side with melted guessing game. UCF Assistant Professor of physics\u00a0Bill Kaden has employed mathematical formulas to uncover the secrets of this game. \u201cCornhole provides a great example of physics in action,\u201d says Kaden. \u201cWhile the game appears reasonably straightforward to the casual observer, a rigorously detailed physical description [&#8230;] actually presents a fairly nontrivial undertaking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>[photo id=&#8221;8008&#8243; title=&#8221;Cornhole diagram&#8221; alt=&#8221;Cornhole diagram&#8221; width=&#8221;100%&#8221;][\/photo]<\/p>\n<h3>1. Angle<\/h3>\n<p>The first thing to consider is the throwing angle, advises Kaden. Although there are some\u00a040 disadvantages to tossing the beanbag at a 40-degree angle, it\u00a0balances out in the end and allows for the highest level of accuracy.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Technique<\/h3>\n<p>Spinning the beanbag or making it skip on the board are ways to improve your odds, while also adding some flair to your throws.<\/p>\n<h3>3.
