Global Knights,

On Friday, July 24, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) released new guidance regarding the Fall 2020 semester. Please review the UCF Global COVID-19 FAQ page which has been updated to reflect this new guidance and should address most common questions.

Brief Summary

  • No in-person enrollment requirement. Current international students with an active SEVIS record may engage in any modality of courses for the Fall 2020 semester as long as you are enrolled full-time. This means that your classes can be fully online, in-person, or in any other modality offered at UCF. Refer to the FAQ page for the full-time enrollment requirement of your program.
  • You can take online classes from outside of the United States. If you are currently outside of the U.S. or plan to travel home, you can continue to maintain an active SEVIS record by enrolling full-time in online classes.

We understand that the past few weeks have been full of changes that have taken a toll on everyone. We encourage you to continue to take care of yourself, reach out to your fellow Global Knights, and ask for help if you need it. You are not alone and we are here for you.
