We are so proud of our students for the overwhelming support of UCF’s COVID-19 policies, including the regular wearing of face coverings, practicing physical distancing and other measures.

In order for our in-person classes and activities to continue this fall, we must keep up this momentum and continue to follow the rules in place to protect our community’s health. This includes acting responsibly this weekend for our Knights’ first home game at the Bounce House.

Students at our away game watch parties have worn their masks and practiced physical distancing, and everyone in attendance at the stadium on Saturday will be required to follow those and other new COVID-19 gameday policies.

We are just as excited as you are for the return of football season, but we need to remember that the virus is still a part of our reality. Attending large gatherings where COVID-19 could easily be spread reverses all the hard work that we have done together so far.

When planning your gameday activities, try reducing the number of attendees, bringing your event outside, keeping your distance and wearing face coverings the whole time — or going virtual. And, of course, don’t forget to bring the UCF spirit wherever you are!

This pandemic is not over, but we know we can count on our Knights to rise to the occasion to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at UCF.

Keep Armoring Up, and Charge On!
