Fall Festivities

UCF’s annual fall semester celebration, Pegasus Palooza, provides a warm welcome for students.

The start of the fall semester is an exciting time at any college campus, but with Pegasus Palooza it’s a weeklong celebration of all the great things to come at UCF. The annual event provides students with engagement opportunities that can help them excel academically, get involved on campus and meet new friends. The festival began with the Knighting — a welcoming ceremony for new students — and continued with a popsicle social, concert with music duo The Driver Era, events to learn about resources at UCF and more. Students also got a sneak peek of this year’s Homecoming Week celebration, which took place the week of October 22 and featured a mystery theme.

“These events are important because they serve as the first impression and first experience for our new Knights.”

Stefanie Campbell ’14 ’19MA, assistant director of programming for the Office of Student Involvement
