Students

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) provides academic accommodations to students with disabilities. Students with disabilities who want to learn more about academic accommodations should go to the SAS website.

Students with disabilities who want to learn more about academic accommodations should go to the SAS website.

Disabilities may fall into one of the following diagnostic categories but may also be present in additional ways:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Blind or Low Vision
  • Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH)

  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Temporary Disability (Broken arm/hand/leg, concussion, etc…)

General Information: Employees with disabilities who would like to learn more about employment accommodation should visit the Accommodations section of the OIE website.

Members of the Public

Members of the public with disabilities who will visit UCF and need accommodation should contact the Office of Institutional Equity for more information.

Event Accommodations

UCF hosts multiple large events where individuals with disabilities may need more information related to accommodation and accessibility.

Commencement

  • Graduates in need of accommodations for the UCF Commencement ceremonies should review the Graduation Accommodation page.
  • Guests in need of information regarding accessibility for the UCF Commencement ceremonies should review the Guest Accessibility Needs page.

Athletic Events

The accessibility of each athletic facility and event varies. Please visit the UCF Athletics site for more information.

Event Accommodation Assistance

If you plan to attend an event at UCF and are unsure of the process to find accessibility information or request accommodation, please complete the Event Accommodation Request form and a team member will get back to you.

Dietary and Allergen Ingredient Information

Allergen and ingredient transparency of the menu offerings we serve can provide helpful information to customers with food allergies. Campus Resources for UCF Dining Services 63 South Restaurant and other campus Nutrition and Allergen Menus are available to help provide a healthy campus experience. Accessibility Features at UCF

Wheelchair Charging Stations

  • UCF Orlando Campus: A Wheelchair Charging Station is now available on the second floor of the Student Union in the Starbucks area and in the Student Accessibility Services office.

Campus Garages with Elevators

  • UCF Orlando Campus: Garages A, C, H, F, and Resident Garages E and G have an elevator.

UCF Downtown Campus

  • Parramore and UnionWest Garages have an elevator.

Parking

  • All UCF Campuses: Designated parking is available in parking lots and garages throughout the campus. Individuals must display a state-issued disabled license plate or hang tag along with a valid UCF parking permit to park in these spaces.

Videophones

  • UCF Orlando Campus: A Videophone for deaf or hard of hearing students or guests is in the John C. Hitt Library on the 1st floor. Check out the remote from the LibTech Desk near the Reflecting Pond entrance.
  • UCF Downtown Campus: A videophone for deaf or hard of hearing students or guests is located in the UnionWest building on the 3rd floor.
