UCF Basketball’s Season to Remember

Under the leadership of head coaches Johnny Dawkins and Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, the programs produced two of the winningest seasons in UCF history, and the nation noticed.

The men’s team broke through the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2011, and the women’s program consistently received votes in the national polls throughout the season.

Both programs earned at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament this year for the first time, combining for a total of 14 postseason appearances (NCAA or NIT/WNIT tournaments) in UCF’s Division I history.

Houston was ranked No. 6 nationally when the men’s basketball team upset the Cougars on the road March 2, marking the Knights’ second-highest ranked win in school history.
