Siteimprove Account Role Types

User

Allows team members to view reports, track issues and log corrections. Administrative settings remain restricted.

Read-only

Allows team members to view dashboards and metrics, but restricts logging changes or editing configurations.

Report Recipient

Allows users to receive scheduled email reports, without direct login access to the platform.

Getting Started After You Receive Access

Step 1: Log in and inspect your assigned website’s dashboard overview.

Step 2: Navigate to the Accessibility category to identify automated alerts.

Step 3: Prioritize high-severity issues affecting global navigation menus, shared headers, contact forms and critical landing pages.

Step 4: Review corresponding PDF document audits for tagged reading order and accessible images.

Step 5: Resolve errors directly within your local content management system (CMS).

Step 6: Recheck updated pages in Siteimprove once changes are published.

Step 7: Reach out to the Digital Accessibility Lab if you need guidance establishing a prioritization strategy.

Small, steady improvements matter. You do not need to resolve every issue immediately. Focus first on barriers affecting primary navigation, common page templates, required services, or heavily visited public directories.
