Scenic designer Bert Scott, an associate professor at Theatre UCF, created this scale model of the set so directors could begin choreographing the play months before construction began.

More than 2,000 hours were needed to complete construction of the massive set, which featured three levels with flanking staircases that led to an elevated bridge, plus a computer-controlled, rotating turntable built into the floor.

Lighting designers utilized 485 lights to create different moods during the production. With 40 locations in the story that had to be changed in a matter of seconds, lighting queues were a key factor in the performance.
