UCF Conservatory Theatre’s latest offering, “Twelfth Night,” opens this week on the main campus and runs through the end of the month.

Shakespeare’s classic comedy of mistaken identities gets a western-style remake, set in California after the Gold Rush of the 1850s. After a shipwreck, Viola finds herself separated from her twin brother and disguises herself as a man to survive amidst a cast of colorful characters.

Performances of “Twelfth Night” will be Thursdays through Sundays from Jan. 20 until Jan. 30 on the UCF Theatre’s Main Stage. All shows begin at 8 p.m., except for Sunday matinees, which will start at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices are $19 for adults, $17 for seniors and $12 for students with their ID. Reservations are recommended and available through the UCF Conservatory Theatre box office at 407-823-1500. Group rates are available. The box office can assist with accommodations for patrons with disabilities.
