The CREOL building is reopened following a chemical spill shortly after 10 a.m. Friday.
Campus police, fire rescue and a hazmat team responded to a spill in a room on the building’s first floor. There were no injuries, and the building was cleared as safe by the hazmat team around noon.
Due to the closure, shuttle routes that typically stop near the Health and Public Affairs buildings were rerouted to the stop in lot C3 near the Physical Sciences building. Routes affected are 6, 8 and 13, and they will remain rerouted until emergency vehicles clear.
All other campus operations remain normal.
