Users of a water-bottle filler in the new Technology Commons on campus have saved their 10,000th bottle from possibly ending up in a landfill. That milestone was reached Thursday at the fountain, which has been in use for just two months and allows bottles to be reused rather than thrown away. The fountain dispenses filtered water and keeps a running count of refilled bottles. The new technology center is between the Student Union and Library.
