A blood drive on the UCF campus to help replenish local supplies after the holidays will be held Wednesday, Jan. 23, in front of the Student Union.
Anyone who donates between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. will be given a free movie ticket.
Philip Trees of OneBlood Inc., formerly known as Florida’s Blood Centers, said the supply of O-, B- and A- blood types is currently low.
The “Guns ‘N Hoses” blood drive, hosted by the UCF Police Department in December and early January, helped provide blood to 165 patients in area hospitals, Trees said.
