Carol Saunders was named a Schoeller Senior Fellow at the Dr. Theo and Friedl Schöller Research Center for Business and Society at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. Saunders was selected based on her research on overload. The Center grants research fellowships to outstanding scholars in the field on an annual basis. Saunders has won numerous awards and has been published in more than 50 top-ranked publications. She served a three-year term as editor-in-chief of MIS Quarterly. In addition to teaching at UCF, she has extensive international experience. She held a Distinguished Fulbright Scholar Chair at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (WU) and further research chairs in New Zealand, Singapore, and the Netherlands. In 2012, she was guest professor at the Institute of Information Systems at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg.
