In higher education, there’s a term, “swirling,” that describes students who start at one university, transfer to another, dabble in a few courses from a third, perhaps take something online at a fourth. Rather than being true to one high school, Mark Wilson has been true to himself — swirling his way into a rare place as a dually enrolled high school senior and a University of Central Florida student who’s almost halfway to a bachelor’s degree.
