A group of UCF alums—Diane Mahony, Mark Moore, John Mahony and Bill Peppler— is providing Americans a new way to find jobs on their phones. Their company, Kavaliro, a national staffing agency, recently launched a new mobile job search app for the iPhone and iPad.
The application interfaces with their online job portal, allowing job seekers to browse, filter and search an online database of hundreds of jobs.
Unemployment numbers are rising, but Kavaliro is seeing success—the firm experienced a 165 percent growth in revenue by May 2011. Further, Kavaliro reports seeing more jobs available now than in the past 15 years.
“To help us fill jobs and reach qualified candidates, we realized a mobile application would be the perfect way to go,” said Bill Peppler, managing partner of Kavaliro. “Now anyone, anywhere, can access the power of Kavaliro in the palm of their hand. We feel that this is yet another way to help put America back to work. ”
